Information Sent Directly
Search Terms
A name, location, or other phrase entered into a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Bond County Busted Mugshots does not store or keep a log of those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Requests
An email or contact message may be retained so a reply can be prepared and the conversation can be handled. Those messages are not shared outside the operating organization unless disclosure is required by law or needed to protect a legal right.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Normal page delivery can create technical logs. Depending on the hosting, analytics, and security services in use, those logs may include:
- IP address or a shortened network identifier;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent on a page;
- the referring page, when one is supplied; and
- timestamps for page requests.
Cookies
Cookies or similar storage may help measure visits, support page features, or remember a service choice. Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Some features may behave differently after those controls are applied.
How the Information Is Used
Information is used for ordinary operation and maintenance, including:
- keeping the pages available and responsive;
- routing search requests to the selected partner tool;
- learning which pages are useful to visitors;
- finding errors, abuse, and technical faults; and
- showing advertising that may be relevant to a visitor’s interests.
Links to Other Services
The pages link to government offices, jail and court resources, booking and custody tools, newspaper archives, and outside search services. Once a visitor leaves Bond County Busted Mugshots, the destination’s own privacy notice and data practices control.
Some advertising partners may track activity across different sites to measure or tailor advertisements. That tracking takes place on the partner’s systems, not under the direct control of this reference site.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold by Bond County Busted Mugshots. Information may nevertheless be handled by the following parties when needed for the purposes described above:
- search partners that process a visitor’s query;
- analytics and measurement providers;
- advertising networks and their service providers; and
- law-enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order or other lawful process requires disclosure.
Security Practices
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for internet services and stored messages. No internet-connected system is completely secure, so no promise is made that information will always be breach-proof or inaccessible to every unauthorized person.
Visitors Under 18
The pages are intended for adults and are not knowingly directed to anyone under 18. If a minor sends personal information, a parent or guardian may use the Contact Us page to request its deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and practical limits, a visitor may ask about personal information handled through a direct message and may request:
- a copy of data held about the requester;
- correction of inaccurate information;
- deletion of information that can lawfully be erased; or
- an opt-out from a particular type of processing.
Requests should identify the information and the channel through which it was submitted. Requests involving a government record, court case, or third-party service must go to that record holder or provider.
Policy Changes
This policy may be revised as the pages, partners, or legal requirements change. A new version takes effect when it is posted, and the effective date shown with the posted version controls future use.
